Don, I think Kurt was saying that you can change the parent-child
relationship to say Biological yourself - it is already set as Biological
as default, it just appears as a blank.
Cases where setting a child to Biological would be needed would be within
blended or adoptive families, to help clearly identify which children are
step-children of which parent and/or which children are adopted or fostered
etc.
Leaving the setting blank will do no harm to your files - and changing it
for every single person will only waste time *grin*
