Thanks to all those who replied. I did not mean to delete what I did it was the scan above that it was meant to be deleted.
I spent some time looking for my Recycle bin to do a restore by going through the start button and could not find it. Just as I sat here to make these replies I remembered that is was on my desktop - now restored You are a great bunch and give the answers so quickly. This is interesting: I have a gmail address and of all the mailing lists I subscribe this one is the only one where a copy of my first e-mail appears. On all the other sites I never see my own mail and am sometimes left wondering if it ever got there. So, if it is still in your bin I would restore it. Yes, the usr files are important, they contain your settings. On entering the particular routine it relates to eg. reports, Legacy will regenerate the file, but with the Legacy defaults, rather than yours.
