I agree with Michele that it's a lot easier to use the Windows Explorer option to find your files.
However if there are a few files (up to 10) that you use regularly, click on the round "L" icon in the upper left corner (or the "System" tab, depending on your selection for Design > Styles) to show the most recently used files.
