Kathleen, I have a filter set in my webmail (Yahoo) to send all
[email protected] emails and any with "[LegacyUG]" in subject to
a separate online folder, to keep them out of my inbox & off my computer. I
read them periodically--can sort on Subject and/or just delete the subjects
that I'm not interested in (e.g., GED exports or other features I don't use)
and read the rest... or read the first in the thread & if not interested,
delete them all. Sometimes the number of emails in the thread piques my
interest, but sometimes that just means the thread has gone off topic. ;)

Subject: [LegacyUG] digest mode option

Hi,

I'm a TMG refugee looking for a new home, and recently joined the
Legacy user group.  Instead of getting individual messages, is a
      digest mode an option?

I am creating a descendancy Report in legacy 7.5 which I intend to
incorporate into a MS Word document and have 2 problems I need help with. 1.
Because the report runs several pages, if an individual has a second
spouse that appears on a subsequent page of the report, the spouse's entry
appears as NAME (see other spouse name on page #) Because this report will be
incorporated into a larger word document the
page # in
" (see other spouse name on page #) "
does not correspond to the page number in the Word document. Is there an option
to prevent legacy from including "(see other spouse name
on page #)" in the report? 2. The second problem is related.
Because the report is destined to be included in a much larger Word
document, and I don't own a pdf editor, is there some way to produce the
same report in editable form rather than pdf. So I can change some things
about it, including colored text to highlight the direct line? Jeff Legacy User
