Are you already using the UserID and AFN fields? I don't think using the AFN field for some "signal" of you own would cause a problem, but it seems to accept either letters or numbers. You can certainly put letters, numbers or a combination in the UserID field. Do you need to use all your tag numbers permanently? It is so easy to create a Search List and tag it that I use most of the numbers temporarily to indicate people I need to do something specific with (eg look them all up in a particular database) and just use a couple as permanent markers. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
