When there's a formatting problem with any report, first make sure you
have the most recent build of Legacy (currently 8.0.0.459) and then
try resetting the report options - click on the Reset button in the
lower right corner of the main Report window.

in v8, the Events when you select List Style don't have the "boxes"
that they did in previous versions. I don't know for sure but I
suspect it's because the boxes limit the space for the fields and when
the box is "full", then the field drops down to the next line and the
format loses its columnar look.
