Hi Rob, I think adding or not adding the date of the event in addition to the date of registration is a personal choice. I like to include both. My event sentence format is different than yours, but here is a Birth Informant event from my file:
1886 Feb 15 - Birth Informant - Annie registered the Dec 28, 1885, birth of her daughter Charlotte with the Superintendent Registrar's District of Swansea in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ and under the daughter Charlotte's events, I would have a Birth Registration event: 1886 Feb 15 - Birth Registration - Charlotte's mother Annie was her birth informant registering the event with the Superintendent Registrar's District of Swansea, Registrar's Sub-District of Swansea in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ I wouldn't refer to the birthdate in the daughter's event because I would have a separate Birth Event just prior to the Birth Registration event.
