In Section 10.30 of EE, E S Mills treats how to cite wills.  If the will is in a bound volume, she wants you to cite a “series” – the larger group within which the particular will book is found.  I don’t really see the point of this – if you have the will book number, that should be enough.  Legacy’s source template based on this section asks for the series too – understandably, since it’s based on EE’s format.  I did not ask for the series when I ordered the will and I don’t particularly want to call or email the Fairfield County, Ohio Probate Court them to get that information.  Does anyone also not do this?

Not just in the case of Wills (I've never got one from the US anyway) but generally I fill in all the fields which relate to information which I have and which was necessary for finding/acquiring the document and I ignore any fields (leave them blank) which are not relevant or are unnecessary.
