One possibility is you may have accidentally deleted a person or a
marriage or a relationship and this could have caused an "orphan" branch
in your database.

If people are missing from the Family, Pedigree, or Descendant tabs, the
first place I would look is the INDEX tab to see if they are truly gone,
or if they just got unlinked somehow.

The next thing I would look at is how many "trees" are in your
database. You may just be able to re-link two trees by fixing a
relationship. You can check your # of trees (and the number of people
in each tree) by selecting:
* View
* Trees

As an example of multiple trees - I have a partial tree of General
George Patton in one tree, and then I have my family's tree, all in the
same database. So far we have not been able to connect the two so we
don't think we are related, but I have George's info in there "just in
case".

(On a side note, not really Legacy related but one of those interesting
family stories: Turns out one of George's ancestors was trying to
escape from someone, so he changed his last name to Patton (they believe
it was his Mom's maiden name) and left the Scotland. Kind of ironically,
the ancestor changed his name to Robert Patton (same as me!!))
