Under some circumstances I *would* create such an Event, just as I have Events named Press & Publications and I think it all rather depends on whether the person was actively concerned in some way. If an Ancestor of mine published an autobiography or wrote a diary I would probably create a "book event" detailing that he wrote/published the work and giving a description of the contents. And almost certainly Events for particular activities therein recorded and using the book/diary as a Source. I someone wrote history in which they made some reference to my Ancestor I would not create a "book event" but might just use the book as a Source. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
