Shirley I think you are asking for something that you won't like if you had it. My experience with any of the charting programs, you will only be able to use maybe 4-5 generations and beyond that you are creating such a large chart, you can't see or print it on any reasonable size of paper or poster.
I have about 40,000 people in my database and anything over about 4-5 generations is too large to use. Some of my families go back 15-20 generations. In Legacy, you can create a chart of Fathers only that would span that many generations. In Legacy, use the Legacy Charting icon to the right of the Internet icon and you can plot lots of different charts. I would suggest you try some of those before purchasing other software. In some of my testing of Legacy Charting, I have created charts of over 100 generations. The problem is, you cannot print that size of chart - it is just a paper generator. If you only have a few people in your database with only 3-4 generations, then you could chart something useful to be printed. Anyway, just my thoughts, you won't be happy with what you are asking for.
