Jenny~
I still have my FTM installed on a Win7 machine and would be happy to receive your sister's file and return it as a GED or import it into Legacy and return it t her.

My sister was creating her husband's tree with Family Tree Maker but a couple of years ago I persuaded her to buy Legacy and she started to "play around" with it to learn the program. She then had to give up research because of needing to care for an elderly relative. Now she wants to return to her research, but she has installed Windows 10 on her laptop and finds that FTM will not run, nor re-install from the disks she has.

Is there a LUGger who also uses FTM who would be willing to receive my sister's FTM tree (can e-mail or Dropbox) and export it to a GEDCOM for importing into Legacy? (Or better still, I think, import it into Legacy and return the Legacy file.)

Please reply by e-mail to me. Thanks in anticipation.
