In the Name List click the Options button and turn off Include Hints
Results and Include Potential Problems.

Hi Cathy,
My name list opens after several seconds. How do you turn off the
column for hints? I changed some settings in Options tab/Customize and
the hint column still appears in my Name List. I don't see a choice in
the Options in the Name List either to turn off the hint column. What
are PPs? I have currently only 3 tag columns showing. I hope someone
hasn't already asked, I missed it and asking the same questions again.
My Legacy file does seem to have slowed down. I remember there was
conversation about this in prior emails. I don't use source citations.
I use the Media Gallery for each individual, and therefore the same
certificate may appear in 14 individuals or more (grandparents,
parents, godparents). I think I was told if I understood correctly,
that my system doesn't effect the speed of my file. Is that correct?
I usually learn something from these emails, so I greatly appreciate
all your effort.

When I updated to the latest update, it is slow to bring up the list
of names when I click on "Name List". It shows all the alphabet for
the list of names and then the section where the detail etc is - all
in little empty boxes as it runs across my screen while it loads. I
have done a check and repair, but that did not help. I have a new
laptop which is almost a year old now and it never did that before
this update. It is very annoying. What can I do to fix this?
