Hello all ! Hope you are well.

My old desktop XP system has died, but fortunately I had done a full backup (the whole system including the entire 'C' drive) before it expired. I subsequently bought a new desktop (which is Windows 10) and then had great difficulty in re-opening the saved XP info - which was in the form of a .BKF file, on an old external hard drive.

I've had the local IT techs. transfer the saved/backed-up  files to a new external hard drive but now cannot find or workout which are the necessary (old) Legacy files, so I can copy them into a newly downloaded Legacy 7.5 program on the new (Windows 10) desktop.

Could any one please suggest how I might resurrect my old (XP) Legacy info. onto the new (W10) platform, if indeed such a thing is possible ?

Many thanks, stay safe.....Phil Grace

P.S. If such an exercise is possible, I will similarly need to resurrect a couple of old (XP) Legacy 8 files in the same way. The eventual goal being to tidy up the resurrected L7.5 and L8 files for transfer to the new Legacy9 Deluxe version I installed on the new (W10) desktop.
