Well, Reunion is a Mac program. It also used to be a Windows program, but
it's makers sold the Windows version to Sierra. Sierra renamed the Windows
version of it "Generations Easy Family Tree," and market it under that name.

The "Generations" part refers to all the individual programs that come in
the "Suite," but "Easy Family Tree" is the specific programs that handles
the genealogical data.

It is a very nice program in my opinion.

However, for LDS/"Mormon" genealogists, it doesn't properly handle LDS
ordinance data in GEDCOMs, or create GEDCOMs using the ANSEL character set,
which LDS genealogists need to make their GEDCOMs work with LDS-specific
programs such as "Temple Ready." So, LDS genealogists should NOT use
Generations Easy Family Tree for Windows, or Reunion for the Mac.

But, if inputting same sex marriages is important to you, it may be a good
program to check out.

Sincerely,

Troy
