Ok - I went in to my C drive and checked it and I still had Legacy 2
there so I used the 'Uninstall Legacy' and did that. I still have
Legacy 3 showing.
I went back to 'My downloads' and double clicked the update icon and
this is the message I got
"Cannot find the file C:|Legacy|Legacy.Exe or one of its
components. Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all
required libraries are available.
At this point I had a panic attack, and figured I had lost Legacy 3
and all my info (I know the data stays but you still panic).
I closed this file and the Legacy 3 icon was still on my desktop so I
clicked on it out of curiosity and presto there is the program all
intact. Obviously whatever file is missing is not affecting the
program (so far - I haven't tried to work with it today yet).
So what am I supposed to do to get the update to open and come into
the program. Should I reinstall the CD, do a download of the demo
copy, etc etc. or what. I am not the greatest at solving internal
problems.
I am not given an option to put in anything but Legacy. There is no
place to tell it this or that, it just asks what program you want it
to go into and you scroll down and choose Legacy. Nothing else.
Help please. I never had problems updating Legacy 2, only with 3.
