Microsoft Outlook is a must rather than Outlook Express if you have felt the
embarrassment of forgetting birthdays. Everytime that you look at your email
in Microsoft Outlook there will be a warning about items such as
appointments and birthdays. When I used both programmes, I tended to get my
mail with Express and then forget to go to Microsoft Outlook to consult the
calendar.

Outlook Express is free with Windows and is a cut down form of Outlook which
comes with Microsoft Office. Outlook acts as a desk top manager and has such
things as a calendar, diary, alarm, scheduler, etc.

It is much more complex with a lot more to go wrong than Outlook Express.
