Elsie, You mentioned the merge. I can not get Legacy to auto merge the same individuals that have *no dates* associated with them.
I tried a test by creating a short file that covered three generations. Then copied the file to a different directory and changed its name. Then went thru the merge routine. It would not merge these same individuals since they had no dates. This is on the free version of 3. Did I make a procedural error using the program? Thanks in advance. Turned out there were 6 vocal and enthusiastic Legacy promoters - uh, supporters there. Of course, IMHO Legacy's superb merge features will be an absolute 'must' when working with AFT. <snip> Elsie _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp
