If your CD-RW program will allow you to "Format" the CD for
DOS applications, it will work as a LARGE floppy drive.

Subject: [LegacyUG] files on CD

Although I have tried about a dozen dos and windows
genealogy programs in the
past 10 years and have used Legacy only a few months, I
think it is the best.
I input my information into Legacy on my hard drive with
gedcom of records
from my Generations program. I would like to have all my
information on CD
and input my data or pics directly to the CDrw instead of
hard drive so I
could take it from one computer to another or even make
copies for relatives.
I would appreciate any help or information.
