I wrote the message below last week, and one person said they have the same problem, but otherwise no one else. I'm just adding this so that the programmers have all the info they might need. It is now sometimes happening when I click on a person's parent - the wrong person pops up. Most frequently, this seems to go to my default start up family. It's mainly a nuisance problem ( unless you edit a notes window without realizing it's the wrong person!), but I wonder if there's a reason for it that I can do something about. And yes, I have run repair often :-)

Needless to say, you can add or delete information in very bad ways if you don't notice it. It may open up to a person utterly unrelated to what you've been working on. It just happened again when I clicked on the spouses icon. If I close the window, the new person shows on the family view, but the back arrow takes me back to the proper person. I don't know if it's related or not, but sometimes merge opens up the wrong person too (i.e., not the one that is highlighted, and sometimes not even one I've opened in ages) - this problem occurs in both V3&4.
