Graham,

thanks for thinking with me....but the Individual Events is
checked in my settings......

I have done some additional toying....I have edited the
entry of my father to put the occupation twice in the DB. I
have included (DESC) for the entry under Description, and
(NOTES) for the entry under Notes. No I can see what program
uses what part of the Occupation 'event'.

This is what I get when generating web pages under Family
group:
====================================================
Events
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Occupation, tekenaar, winkelier (DESC)

tekenaar, winkelier (NOTES)
====================================================
It shows that the program uses both DESC and NOTES.....

And the following is the output of the Ancestor option:
=======================================================
1. Antonius Christianus VADER, son of Huijbregt VADER and
Adriana VAN NISPEN , was born on 29 Jul 1915 in Vlissingen
and died on 24 Nov 1995 in Vlissingen, at age 80.

Noted events in his life were:

 Occupation. tekenaar, winkelier (NOTES)
======================================================

Now only NOTES is used, and not even Description.

I think this is not wanted behaviour, or I am missing the
point completely.....
