Steve,

I tried a search/replace in *every* note field in Legacy and in *every*
instance, I got the name of the individual showing at the bottom of the
Replacement field.

Try running a File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair and see if that makes a
difference.  Also, you could try closing Legacy and then going to the Legacy
folder on your hard drive and deleting the search.usr file - then restart
Legacy and try again.

Also, be sure you have tne 14 Mar 2003 build.
