Create a non-standard event and try again. Say make up one like "foobar" and put it on a couple people. How many show up now? If too many, do all have "non-standard" events?
Will Sig is a non-standard event but Residence is a standard. When I say standard, I'm referring to the ones predefined by the gedcom folks, it could be that Legacy's internal data structure mimics how these are handled, and as a result all non-standard events will end up tagged in this situation. Just a hunch. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cindy Holden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Legacy User Group" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, June 13, 2003 8:44 PM Subject: [LegacyUG] Event List problems > Hello all, > > To be precise, here is what I am doing. > > I go to Master > Event Definition. > I select one (let's say I select Will Signature) > I click on Show List > I click on Untag everyone in File, then click on Tag Everyone in List (tag > 1). > I close all that and now go to the Name List > I click on Search > Show all Tagged 1 individuals. > > Guess what?
