Hello,

I enter all of my locations in a format that helps me sort in the locations
list. I have four fields: City, County, State, and Country...such as
Denver, Denver County, Colorado, USA. Then in my sort I have the order as
Country, State, County, and City. If I don't have all the information, such
as the county, I would type it in like: Denver, , Colorado, USA. Or if I
don't know the city or county I type it in like: , , Colorado, USA. The
commas determine which field it is supposed to be in. It works great when I
am looking for a location to search it in that order.

However, I do have one problem. I am not as familiar with some of the other
countries....whether they have a location that would have four fieldsor not
An example would be England. I always make sure that I have England in the
fourth field and the town or city in the first field but the rest is vague
to me. Do I put the shire name in the second or the third field, and is
there another field that might be listed in there somewhere? An example I
have is Wilmslow, Cheshire, England. That is only three fields. Where does
Cheshire fit properly? Is it Wilmslow, , Cheshire, England? Or is it
Wilmslow, Cheshire, , England? Or is there only three fields in English
locations and so therefore it does not matter where the comma comes in as
long as there is one to give it four fields? How do I handle it in other
countries? All I know is that I want to keep it in the four field format,
so that the countries will sort correctly.

I hope I am not confusing to anyone with this question.

Marianne
