I'm sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused concerning receipt requests. Someone else already gave this advice to the group, but not in depth. Certainly I know how to turn off requesting receipts. But if I do so, it will apply to all my email communication, which is very important to me. In most cases I want to know if a message gets through, if I have an address correct, etc. Personally, I don't like to have to confirm receipt on incoming messages any more than anyone else does, so I set my Outlook program to Automatically send a response. I could set it to Never send a response, whichever I prefer. If you don't like to process receipts, as it seems, do the following (in Outlook): Menu Tools>Options>Email Options>Tracking Options The bottom part of the dialog has three options, one of which should take care of your problem. If you choose to Always or Never send a response, you will not even notice when you get a request. I'm sure other email programs have a similar set of choices.
