| I'm not sure what you mean here... After the next update [[private]] information will not be included in the GEDCOM files (unless you select the option to include it). Is this what you were referring to by "double bracket?" Reply: No, what I am talking about is the double carot marks you use to indicate that something should be in italics or bold or underlined. When these are printed they turn out as you intended. However, when they are sent to WorldConnect in a gedcom they are not modified. We had a dialogue a few weeks ago in which I asked about this and I was told that WorldConnect, and I guess the gedcom protocol uses a single carot <> to indicate italic, bold, underline, so it does not read it correctly. I understand why you are using the double carot, because the single carot often is used for other things and can be confusing. I was suggesting that if you can attach a meaning to [[ ]] for just the gedcom that maybe you could change the double carot to a single carot when a gedcom is being created so that the intended italic, bold or underline would show up. Below is a link to a worldconnect page where this is a problem. http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=kirk-goodwin&id=I120 Thank you, Joan Best Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
