Jon, et al

In our help at http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/DownloadHelp.asp, you'll
find the directions to uninstall a previous version of Legacy before
installing a new one.

The Help info reads:

"Please uninstall older versions of Legacy before installing Legacy 5.0. If
Legacy 3.0 or 4.0 is present and you don't uninstall it first, it will
remain in the system registry. If you remove Legacy 3.0 or 4.0 after
installing Legacy 5.0, Legacy 5.0 will be disabled and you will need to
re-install it to make it work again."

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy v5 Installed over Legacy v4

I, too, installed v5 over v4, i.e., I did not first uninstall v4. The
implication here is that there could be a problem. The "recommendation"
that v4
should first be uninstalled is puzzling. Should those of us that installed
v5
over v4 uninstall the entire application and reinstall/update v5?
