Jim,

At present, I use event Notes for the roles of other people beside the
principal people in the events. Legacy n will probably have provisions for
Witnesses and Roles but right now there is no way to link multiple people
with an event. I do use a Witness event for major things like weddings,
funerals, etc. Legacy's ability to copy and paste an event makes this a
snap. You just complete it for one person, copy it and then paste it for
everyone else. The advantage is that you can search witness events to build
a list of witnesses.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Marriage / Funeral performed by...

| Holiday Greetings to all!
|
| I am interested in how others on this list are recording the name of the
| minister / pastor / priest / rabbi who officiated at the marriage
ceremony
| and /or funeral.
|
| Likewise, what about members of the wedding party [ Best man, maid of
honor,
| groomsmen, bridesmaids, etc.] or pallbearers at the funeral?
|
| Thanks,
