Here is a thorough explanation - I did get it to work.

view
    master list
        sources
            options
                tag all master sources
            highlight 1st source, hold shift key, scroll to last source and
highlight it
            show list (all your sourced people wll show on list)
                near bottom of list change individual tag to an unused tag
number (say 2)
                click tag everyone in list
search icon
    detailed search
        look for:  Individual    Tag 2    Equals    Untagged

Here is your list of all unsourced records

I use GENViewer for this. You can specifically query for missing Birth,
Death,
etc. sources.

I suppose if you have MS Access you can do the same thing.
