Does Tree Draw Legacy work better than the stock charting feature of
FTM?

For my purposes it does work better. I like to produce small charts for
specific purposes. Most recently I produced a chart that included a
photograph of my grandmother's first wedding.
I numbered each person in the photo in a photo edit prog.- added a key
in a text box on the chart, then I removed from the chart, all but the
three nephews/nieces in the photo. I left Grandma's deceased siblings,
mother and second husband on the chart, but italicised their entries.
Finally, I rearranged everything to fit on two landscape A4 pages. I
tried to reproduce this project in FTM and couldn't fiddle with it to
the same extent you can in TreeDraw.
I like the control TreeDraw gives and I've used it since before I
migrated from Brothers Keeper to Legacy many years ago, but agree that
up to V2.2 (which I have) it is not very intuitive.
