On Family View, below the Marriage Bar, where the children are listed they are numbered. Depending on which of two options were selected the fact that the child has a spouse is shown either by � after the name or the bolding of the number preceding the child's name. Likewise the fact that a child had children is shown either by + after their name or underlining of the number before the name.
The choices as to which to display are found in Options|Customize|Data Format|Child List Indicators.
