I would like to get a sense of what the group feels about the following. I have always included university degrees as an event. However, I recently received a list of names, births, deaths, etc from a distant cousin in the UK. He has included university degrees in the name suffix so that, for instance, we see Margaret Isobel Boxer BA. BSc. PhD. This seems pretentious to me ... I don't even have my degrees on my business card ... but I also see some merit in the approach.
How does this group handle this?
