I do the same as you - keep them as events. This did get me thinking though about other awards. Not that any of my family is one but if there were an OBE or MBE (Order/Member of the British Empire) I might put them in the suffix since that is how they read. I do have a number with military service awards and again these might naturally appear afterwards eg John Smith VC (Victoria Cross) - at the moment I have these only as events. Graham
