Hello fellow Legacy users, I've missed the start of this, but if it is a problem with shutting down with Windows 98 SE (second edition) then this is a well known problem (amongst those interested in computers). If you put the words "shutdown fix Win 98SE" in any search engine you will get a site which will allow you to download a small fix (program) which will stop the problem. If you decide to avoid Win98SE problems by changing to Windows XP you will be just changing to Windows XP problems instead.
