I have 2 cemetery events. One for Cemetery, and one for Cemetery - Need Photo. Before I go to an area, I do a search for the "Cemetery - Need Photo" event name, event description with "part of cemetery name" and event location contains the "county" name. Then I print the person's name (which ends up being a maiden name) and check the option for surrounding relatives. I end up with a separate list for each cemetery and I highlight the names, including the last name of the last husband.

I also have an AKA for each married name for each married woman, and you can choose to print the AKA as well as the maiden name on various reports. But for cemeteries, the above works well because sometimes they are next to their parents OR their husband. I would like to be able to NOT print the childrens names, but usually I create a text file and delete the children's names so the list is not so long.

Jim,
I may have missed something, but I don't have to "handle" this situation
because women show up with their maiden names everywhere. That is, I've had
trouble getting a woman's married name (when it is different from their
maiden name) to print anywhere. I'm hoping someone on this list will
enlighten me. My most recent attempt was to produce a report for use in
cemetery searches... maiden names not much use for looking at gravestones.
;)
Thanks,

How do others handle it when a woman chooses to keep her maiden name
after marriage?

Not in my opinion. It's redundant information.
