My (il)logical mind tells me to me to always use the maiden name in the
Surname field. My reasoning is that is the name originally assigned to
that individual. Time has a way of changing time and one of my cousins has
had a string of surnames-one due to marriage and the others a result of
consecutive adoptions. In Legacy you can go to Marriage List|Options|Sort
by Given Name, Surname and then by wife's name. I've never had a problem
finding someone whose married name I didn't know.
