I agree with you totally about saving photos as .bmp when you want to work
with them later. In my case, I normally know that all I want is about a
thumbnail that will fit into a report.


In the hundred or so that I imported today, I did, in fact save about
three
in the .bmp because I knew I would be working with them later.

However, I would much prefer to change three to .bmp than 97 to .jpg.
