"Both files opened just perfectly for me using Acrobat Reader v5. I'm wondering if they were corrupted in the transfer to your friend somehow? Can you open them ok? Does she have problems with any other pdf files?" You had reported "They looked OK when I opened them, but when I sent them to my friend, she couldn't open them.
