Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Problem restoring a family file
Hi Glenn,
Are you sure you're not just tired? Is it possible you are not navigating to the right folder in the dialogue? This seems the most likely explanation.
I think you have to unzip the multimedia files yourself.
Enjoy the new computer, Cathy

I have a new computer and have been migrating files from my old computer to the new one via a parallel data transfer cable. Prior to transferring my Legacy family file I backed it up in Legacy (both the family file and multimedia files). I re-installed Legacy 5.0 Deluxe on my new computer with no problems and transferred my zipped backups over to the Legacy\Data folder with no problem. The problem is that when I select File>Restore Family File from the menu, and the "Select a Backed up Family File to Restore" dialog window opens up, no files are visible. I double-checked in Explorer to confirm that the files are indeed present and with a .zip extension. Any suggestions?
