I may be rather late with this one but so many are pinning their proofs on the death certificate being accurate I just had to put my 2 cents worth in. The death certificate may be fairly accurate but it too can be wrong. My father died on January 10 but his death certificate says January 11. I have all my records correct, the newspapers reported his death date correct and his headstone is correct but not the death certificate. So much for that.
