And Glen replied:

Seems like a pretty cocky answer to me Glen.  FTM has a few features
that Legacy does not have, mostly around data output.  I agree Legacy
is superior in many respects, but still rely on FTM for chart output, some
kinds of reports, and for working with pictures.  If Legacy has anything
like FTM's "book" feature (which I don't use), I'm unaware of it.

But back to Alice's query.  I suggest Alice complies with her relative's
request.  I go from Legacy to FTM 10 every now and then.  I was unaware
that Legacy had so many export options in the very first drop down box.
Thanks Alice for finally making me aware of them!  I'm running a little
test right now with the three options you mentioned.  I'll let you (and the
list) know how it works out.  Maybe later tonight, maybe tomorrow.
