It appears that you are using a proportional-pitch font (such as Arial
or Times New Roman) for your Notes fields. These fonts will rarely
line-up properly when inserting spaces, and they will "never" look
exactly the same on the screen and when printed.

To get things to align exactly, you will probably have to use a
fixed-pitch font (such as Courier) on both the screen display and
the report. That should keep them both looking the same.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Formatting notes

Hi,

My notes don't look 'pretty' and I'd like to know how to format them in
tabular columns (census information). Is this possible?

Also, even if I get them looking relatively okay on the notes page by
inserting spaces, the spacing doesn't seem to carry over to reports such as
the Family Group Sheets. What am I missing?

Thanks

Ann
