I don't see what the difference is between hitting tab in one program and
hitting ctrl/tab in Legacy is. One thing to be aware of is that formatted
text pasted into Legacy sometimes looks great -- until you close and re-open
the note. Legacy shows -- initially -- Word formatting, for example, but
strips it out on saving the note. On the other hand, whatever works for a
user is what is important; if it's good, it's good.

If your output is html, you can build the table in your html editor, replace
all < > with < >, and paste it in notes, it will format as a proper table in
your web pages. See Event 7

726.htm
versus Event number 17
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~silversmiths/makers/silversmiths/14
921.htm
which was built using ctrl-tab in notes.

Hi Wm,

Writing in another program and pasting helps a lot for tabbed information.
Saves using CTRL-Tab all the time.
That's what I've been using TurboNote for. The result isn't perfect but
much better both on screen and in Reports. I usually only have to adjust
some of the first tab spaces and replace with spaces. I don't know about
Web Pages as I haven't gone there.
