NOTE: Legacy Support Why not allow actual unmarried father to be linked and named in a future update as that family's info (medical, DNA, history) is important. Now, the kids are like second class citizens

On Family View, do you have the Father showing as Unknown or Blank?
It's not ideal - we really need an invisible option - but if blank it shows in descendant chart like this.

Still we cannot deny there is a father - whether known or unknown, approved or disapproved, or a sperm donor.
You change from Unknown to Blank in Options > Customise - Data Format tab
