You could enter the surname as Lefebure [[see LaFavor]]
It would show as such in the name list and index, but as Lefebure in reports, etc. Wm Voss -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jan Holland Sent: Thursday, 10 February, 2005 18:23 To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] alternate names If you have a last name such as Lefebure and the family later changes the name to LaFavor is there a way to put "Lefebure see LaFavor" in the index. I had hoped that if you put alternate name in individuals file it would come up in the index-but it doesn't.
