Robert,
Yes, that box is checked. There are more without the dates in the index than
are. I can't see any pattern to it.

Cathy,
I haven't suppressed living on.

I have just done a check/repair, and nothing changed.

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Descendant Book Report Index

Ok, let's try another angle.

Jennifer,

I just did a Descendant Book report and created a pdf of it, so I could then do the next step as you can't view the output and use another function at the same time.

Once you've made the PDF (assuming you have the Deluxe Edition), save it to your desktop and open it. Then in Search > Detailed Search,
Look for whom?- Individual
Where to look - Birth Date
How to look - Equal To
What to look for - (leave empty)

Click Create List
Make the pdf a window so you have your pdf and search results side by side. You can then check to see if those who do not have dates are in the report.

All mine who did not have dates did not have them in the pdf, and those that did, obviously did.

Lastly, I suggest you update Legacy to .203

Mark
