Same here - I choose not to use Geo database, and also wish I could use the 
IGI search facility without having to close the Geo database box EVERY time. 
Could it disappear once the option has been refused once?

But why does it want to use the Geo Database?  I don't
have that installed.  And when I do the IGI search up comes
a Geobase installation screen (???!!!)  Why?  That's one of
the bugs IMO.  I should be able to search the IGI from within
the program just as I can on the web, without all the Geobase
stuff.  Even granting that the geobase makes IGI searches
better, I should still be able to do the searches without
geobase.  Strictly speaking I can, but I don't want to have to
dismiss the humongous dialog box wanting to install geobase
every time.
