Cathy - I tried your suggestion and as far as I can see - it worked! It change over 1400 people! and at the same time left those that could still be alive! (Yes I have the DeLuxe Edition, right up to date)

Bert - could not quite understand your suggestion, but as soon as I can find my manual (packed up somewhere due to a house move) I will check it out, in more depth.

Hi,

This does not work , only for people with known birth and death dates.

Label those people and go to  Name List> Options> Set living/not living.
