Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy for one-name study
I have a friend who is researching the incidences of one name only. When I asked him what he uses for a database, he told me that he couldn't use one because the vast majority of his families do not interconnect. I have no experience in this, but somehow I think using Legacy for this would be vastly superior to his paper file. Surely it doesn't matter if you have many, many "trees" in your file ? Such a database could be sorted in many useful ways (ie location) thereby helping to find commonalities and possible connections? Could someone who is using Legacy for a similar purpose please comment? Thanks, Anne
