In principle you are right, but I even though I do work in the computer busines I have never come across any software that has been bugfree.
Some of the software we make and some of what we use I do know have been going through extensive testing before released, but strangely enough some user always find some bugs, that hasn't been caught during the testing process. I think most people understands that it is next to impossible to test every possible combination that soemone may make. Personally I have no problem with a bug if it is is reported and there is a fix, of course if it is an error that may jeopardize your file, it better be made known immediately and fixed immediately. Finding a software that is bugfree seems to me to be like Utopia.
